Privacy Notice

Information we collect

When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, company, job title, email address, phone number, inquiry details, and any files you submit. If we continue discussing a project, we may keep related correspondence and notes.

Our hosting and form service providers may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device information, request times, and error or security information to deliver and protect their services.

Please do not include passwords, API keys, sensitive personal information, or confidential information about your clients in the website form.

How we use information

We use inquiry and contact information to:

• Respond to questions and discuss your business needs.
• Evaluate requested work, prepare proposals, and manage potential projects.
• Communicate with you and provide services you request.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and protect the website and our business systems.
• Maintain appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations.

Service providers and sharing

The website is hosted using Amazon Web Services. Its inquiry form is provided through our Halo tenant. Form submissions go to Lookingbill Tech in Halo so we can review your inquiry and manage a potential business relationship. Our email and business service providers may also process information when we communicate with you.

We use service providers to support these activities. We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of our services. Information may be processed in locations where our providers operate.

Halo's own information-handling practices are described in its privacy policy.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and embedded services may use cookies, browser storage, and similar technologies to support site functionality and security. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, although restricting them may affect some features.

Halo trials and other external links

The Halo trial button takes you to Halo's website. The link includes a Lookingbill Tech partner identifier so Halo can attribute the referral. Information you enter after following that link is handled by Halo under its own terms and privacy notice. Other external websites, including linked support services, may have their own policies.

How long we keep information

We retain inquiry information and related correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage a potential or ongoing business relationship, keep appropriate records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations. The period depends on the nature of the inquiry and any resulting work. You can contact us to ask about retention or request deletion.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about personal information you have provided or request access, correction, or deletion. Available rights and exceptions depend on applicable law and the circumstances. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and some information may need to be retained for legal or legitimate business purposes.

You can choose not to use the form and instead email hello@lookingbilltech.com. Email correspondence is handled for the same inquiry-related purposes described above.

Security

We use safeguards intended to protect personal information, including HTTPS for website connections and access controls for business systems. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Children's information

Our website and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this website, please contact us.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices or services change. The date shown on this page will identify the latest version. We will provide additional notice when required by applicable law.
